Write the words

Build a positive script, shape its perspective and keep versions you want to reuse.

Step 1 How to Write Subliminal Affirmations One affirmation per line, phrased as the desired outcome with no negative words. The standard composer range is 50 to 250 lines, and the quality console checks every line before it reaches the voices. Step 1 Afformations (question lines) Affirmations phrased as positive questions, like: Why am I so calm? Use them sparingly; statements carry the script, questions season it. Step 1 Dual perspective (I / You) Dual perspective pairs first-person and second-person versions of a line. Perspective routing can place “I am” and “You are” lines on different sides of the stage. Step 1 Saved scripts Your saved scripts, stored on this device. Saving keeps the text plus the topic and generator settings; loading restores all of it. Step 1 Projects and autosave Every program you build saves itself as you work: script, cast, music, mix and settings. Signed-in projects also sync to your account.

Cast the voices

Choose voices, divide the script, place the cast and understand what changes cost.

Step 2 Voice tiers: Budget, Premium, Pro Every AI-generated studio voice is labeled Budget, Premium or Pro. Budget renders line by line on the studio server at the lowest credit rate, so it suits short scripts. Premium renders in parallel, finishes much sooner and speaks many languages. Step 2 Split and Full casting Both modes repeat your affirmations exactly as often; they only change WHO speaks each line. Full: every voice speaks the whole script. Split: your voices share it, for a fraction of the credits. Step 2 Placing voices on the stage Each voice takes a spot between your ears: pan places it left to right, depth moves it away, motion sweeps it through the room. Spread voices stay distinct and blend more easily under the bed. Step 2 Two speeds: spoken rate vs. speed-up Voice speed setting re-synthesizes the audio (costs credits). Loop speed-up speeds the finished recording and raises its pitch: the classic subliminal treatment, free to change anytime. Step 2 How repetitions are counted Voices loop their lines until the track ends, so repetitions ≈ length × voices ÷ line duration. Longer tracks and shorter gaps mean more repetitions; the count updates live as you change either. Step 2 Recording your own voice Add “Your Voice” in the picker and read the script aloud. Recording is free and your recordings stay private. Each extra “Your Voice” is a fresh take; takes layer like a cast made of you.

Choose the music bed

Find a steady masker, upload your own audio and prepare a loop that repeats cleanly.

Step 2 Choosing Masking Music for a Subliminal The music bed is the masking audio that loops for the whole session. Browse by mood or search, click any track to audition it; nothing joins your program until you choose “Use in project”. Step 2 Uploading your own music Your file stays private: it is never uploaded anywhere. It is measured as it lands, graded like a library bed, and 3–10 minutes of loop material is ideal. Step 2 Looping and fades Only the selected region of the bed repeats. An equal-power crossfade blends its tail into its head to reduce clicks at the loop point. Fades shape the start and end of the whole track. Step 2 How beds are measured Every bed is measured two ways: spectrum (an Even masker fills the speech band; a Scooped bed has a mid hole a voice can surface through) and steadiness (a bed that plays with gaps grades one step worse).

Set the masking

Step 3 Subliminal Masking: How Deep Should the Voices Sit Under the Music? How many dB a single affirmation sits below the music bed. The green band shows the suggested range for the current cast and bed. Step 3 Where the suggestion comes from Voice count, cast diversity, bed coverage and listening setup all feed the suggested masking margin. “Reset to suggested” restores that starting point. All advisory. Step 3 The live coverage scope A live measurement of this bed against your voices across the speech band. A suggested margin cannot fix a mid-range hole; if the scope says exposed, pick a fuller bed or raise the music. Step 3 Headphones or speakers The listening chips tune the mix suggestion to your playback. Binaural beats need headphones; on speakers, use the isochronic option. Step 3 Master level and the safety limiter The master fader sets the overall output of preview and export. A limiter catches peaks above −1.5 dB to reduce clipping.

Step 3 Binaural Beats vs. Isochronic Tones in a Subliminal A gentle pulse under the mix: binaural (one tone per ear, needs headphones) or isochronic (one pulsing tone, works on speakers). You draw how the pulse changes over the session. Step 3 How to Make a Silent Subliminal (the Ultrasonic Layer) Modulates a copy of each voice onto a near-ultrasonic carrier. Use the audible check to hear the encoded signal at a lower test frequency, and export WAV when this layer matters.

Render and listen

Choose the right file, build a repeatable routine and track your listening days.

Step 4 WAV or MP3 for Subliminals? Why the Silent Layer Needs Lossless Studio master (WAV) keeps every layer as rendered, including the silent band. Compact copy (MP3) is smaller, but it does not reliably preserve the silent layer. Step 4 Rendering on the studio server Send the render to the studio server for credits: one credit per track minute (20 minimum). It renders even when you close the studio, and the finished file waits in Export for 48 hours. Step 4 How to Listen to Subliminals Well Choose a comfortable listening level. If you can clearly follow the words, lower the voice level or deepen the masking margin. Set repeat and a listening schedule if you want a routine. Step 4 The listening protocol Pick 21 to 90 days (or your own length) and the Listen player tracks it: a day counts after ten minutes, or check in manually when you listened outside the app. Streaks live with your account. Step 4 The in-app listening copy The Listen player renders a listening copy of your program for this device, so it plays instantly, on a locked phone too. It is per device; your exported file is the one to keep.

Fix a problem

Start with the symptom, check the right readout and make the smallest useful change.

Troubleshooting A voice line pokes out of the music Check the masking margin and coverage scope while playing. Move the margin into the suggested range. If the scope still says exposed, pick a fuller bed or raise the music. Troubleshooting I hear a faint high chirp or whine The silent layer’s lower sideband is dipping into hearing. Check the spectrum view’s dashed “lowest sideband” marker; raise the carrier toward 18.5 kHz or lower the voice detail toward 2.8 kHz. Troubleshooting My MP3 lost the silent layer MP3 compression does not reliably preserve near-ultrasonic content. Export WAV when the silent layer matters, and avoid playback that re-encodes the file. Troubleshooting A voice sounds robotic or speaks the wrong language Voice quality, accent and language support vary by voice. Preview with your script language before synthesis; swapping a voice re-synthesizes only that voice’s lines. Troubleshooting My upload plays with gaps The upload’s grade shows “Plays with gaps”: its quiet stretches let a line peek through, so it masks one step worse. Trim the loop region to a steady section, or pick a steady library bed. Troubleshooting The Render button is locked The line above the button names its reason: voices not synthesized yet, the music bed still preparing, or clip lengths still being measured. Each guard protects a sample-exact file. Do the named step and the button opens. Troubleshooting I ran out of credits mid-run The message quotes what the rest of the run costs, and lines already synthesized are already yours. Top up to continue, or cut the cost: Split mode and Budget voices need far fewer credits. Troubleshooting Playback stopped when my phone locked The studio preview is a working monitor; it stops with the screen. For real sessions use Listen in the top bar: its listening copy keeps playing on a locked phone and counts protocol minutes.
