Looping and fades

Only the selected region of the bed repeats. An equal-power crossfade blends its tail into its head to reduce clicks at the loop point. Fades shape the start and end of the whole track.

A music bed loops for the whole session, so the loop matters: the loop editor picks the region that repeats, trims silence, and bakes the seam by blending the region’s tail into its head with an equal-power crossfade. This reduces clicks at the loop point.

Fades belong to the finished track, not the loop: fade-in eases the very start (the voices join a touch after the bed, so the bed always leads) and fade-out lands the very end. The loops in between never fade.
